Not Knowing Goals: A Good Coach Can Work With Anything

Dan came to me looking to get in shape for an upcoming vacation. He knew he wanted to get leaner but didn’t know what was realistic and what his goal should be. I ran him through my intake process which gave me insights into factors such as diet, exercise, stress, sleep and his overall health. Then we measured his body fat using skin folds and took his weight.
With all this information, I put together a plan and gave him my honest opinion about what a realistic goal would be given the time we had to work with. I told him if he followed my protocol, he would lose around 20lbs of fat in 4 months. The results? Even better than expected – he lost 25lbs.
