Guided Mindfulness Exercise Part 3: Reflective Writing Exercise

Watch the video to take part in the exercise

As I mentioned, written reflection is a great way to connect to ourselves. It is a great way to understand what we need. It can help us communicate to ourselves and perhaps our trainers how we are hoping to harness our energy.

In this video I’m going to take you through a writing exercise. You will need to grab a pen and paper to participate.

The writing prompt is: What are my energy sources and how can I tap into these to reclaim my energy?

For example, an energy source for me is nature and being by water. In my writing, I might connect to WHY that’s a source for me. I can tap into this by making sure I get down to the Toronto Lakeshore at least once a week. I might reflect on how that would help me overall in my well being and energy levels.
