Osteoporosis Training

Specialized Training for Osteoporosis

10% of people aged 40 years and over in Canada have osteoporosis. Of this, women are four times more likely to have it than men. If you’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis, a specialized training program focused on weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening exercises can increase your bone density and prevent fractures.

01

Assess Your Bone Health + Strength

We start with a unique health and fitness assessment tailored to osteoporosis concerns. This includes evaluating balance, muscle strength, diet, and more.

02

Weight-Bearing + Muscle Strengthening Program

Based on your assessment, one of our expert personal trainers will create a customized fitness program to increase your bone strength. Your program will include weight-bearing exercises that challenge your balance, improve functional movement, and build strength.

Your program will incorporate a variety of training styles, dependent on your needs, focused on improving balance, building strength, and enhancing functional movement patterns.

03

Track Your Progress

As you work through your program, your trainer will continue to monitor your progress and adjust your routine to ensure safety and success for your bone health.

"Since I started training with Austin, I am no longer in pain constantly. I am more involved in my life and participate in social activities, and I can now enjoy activities that I once thought I would never be able to enjoy again. My family has all commented on the incredible improvements in my mobility.“

When I started to work with Gus I had severe back pain. Gus worked with me to create a custom program for me. Now I am pain free and have a great program that works for me. I highly recommend Gus!”
